So I would like to think I've been so quiet on the art front for the past, oh, year -_-; because I've been busy. But honestly, I haven't been any busier than I ever was. I've simply been creatively dead. My imagination is shot. There's nothing there. Well, lately I've found out a fun fact. One of the medications I'm on has a few side effects (it's an antipsychotic, therefore, messes with the brain) In creative people, it completely destroys their creativity and imagination. It's reported very commonly. My meds are destroying my art brain. It also causes memory loss, which explains why I can never remember what I've been doing during the day anymore, and it causes twitching, which explains the major head twitch I've developed that makes me look like a psycho. Fortunatly, I've been able to make an appointment with my head doctor to see about switching me to a different medication. I enjoy how functional these meds have made me, but now that I know that the utter hollowing out of my soul that's been going on is due to the meds, I want off them.

Good news is, maybe if I can switch to a new medication that doesn't destory my soul and creativity, I can start doing art again. And that would be sweet. Because right now, if someone isn't telling me exactly what to draw, I can't draw it. Sucks. Wish me luck with the head doctor. I quest to get my soul back.
