Thanks ^^ and thanks for the fave. Brown's one of the hardest colors to work with for me, so the whole thing was very interesting ^^;

:omg: I love this sepia color tones you did for this. And I usually HATE sepia. You've created a cool world here--the protective gear on the... er... griffodactyl, Silas's uniform, the setting. It all rings really otherwordly for me. I like it. I like it a lot.

I must warn you, though, that uniform makes Silas look like he's packing a frickin' firearm down there, and his hands are oversized. (Considering the fantastic setting of this piece, I'm not sure if that's intended or not.) But oh, I loves this! Methinks I will fav... yes, I think I will. (Congratulations. I've been here two and a half years and you are the second person to have been faved more than once.)

Tell me: what are those leather sphere at his feet?
:iconearthenwing:
Thank you ^_____^ I'm flattered. I liked how this turned out. Though you're right; I didn't get Silas' body quite right. It was difficult to figure proportions because he's supposed to be extremely underweight. This was kind of a color experiment/character portrait of a guy I made to RP with. As for the spheres: He's in the military, aerial division, where riders like him serve as bombadier units. Those things by his feet are powder bombs, with iron balls attatched to the bottom, so when the powder is ingited above the ground it explodes and fires the shot downwards into the enemy. There was supposed to be the harnass and straps so he could attatch it to the critter there, but I forgot to ink that part and didn't realize it until I'd started coloring. whoops. ^_^; *brilliant*

Thanks for the fave and all! <3 <3 <3

For the underweight bits, just wander around until you find a bishie artist. They usually pull it off. ;p

Very, very cool. Yay, elaborate RPs with war and powder-bombs! The color went beautifully, dear--j'adore.

Wow... the color is amazing! And I love all the nifty little details of their uniforms. And the background is great, too. Personally, I'm too lazy to draw backgrounds most of the time. :) I like it a lot!

It's not lying, it's just improving the truth a little.

I think companies make scanners special so that they fart all over good artwork. u_u But this is still bootyful! I'm loving the color scheme. :D

Man, he's packin'!

I like the color choices a lot. You always do so very well with the earth tones.

Yeah, I know he is XD Ultra-skinny guy + crotch protection = hung. I should have skipped the codpiece.....

And thanks. Those are the hardest colors for me to do with pencils. Total practice piece.
